Mitchell Contemporary’s Equestrian Logo is taken from a painting by Gino Hollander, an Original Abstract Expressionist, from the NYC Art Scene, in the 1960’s, that worked in a new medium of Acrylic Paints ! The Horse was special to Gino and his family, as it was a way of life and Source of Pride, in Andalusia Spain, where he lived and painted in a studio, he hand built and raised his family! Gino had a long Successful Career, featuring and exhibiting works Internationally, in Museums, Corporate and Private Collection’s, until his passing at 92, in 2015. The Horse, also symbolises my passion for Equestrian Polo ! I have had the privilege of playing in Argentina, Scotland, UK and many polo fields in and around the US. The Horse has been a useful partner to humanity for millennia and continues to enrich our lives, to the present day, with their devotion and love!
